Daily Drawing (Day 13)

For today I decided to draw Sam Rose from the final chapters of Austraeoh. After reading the first book I always depicted Sam Rose to be the pony version of Aragorn in my head since I forgot most of his original description. 

I've always had a hard time drawing stallions but I seem to get better with each one I do. I also free handed the mane so I could start adding more uniqueness to my drawings. I think it turned out ok but I do need to work on shading hair better.

I'm still doing Austraeoh drawings for the month of January so if anyone wants to make a request just note me with the character(s) (including descriptions) wanted and include scene they are in from the stories. As long as its not too crazy complicated I'll attempt it.
